Coretta is a native of Ville Platte, Louisiana. For the past nine years, Coretta & her family have lived in Lafayette, Louisiana. Coretta and her husband have five children; three girls and two boys with one deceased daughter. She enjoys quality time with her family and friends and is known as the “social butterfly”. During her free time, she loves cooking for her family and others, traveling, shopping, swimming, fishing, volleyball, tennis, styling hair, decorating, and most importantly, assisting families in need.
Coretta obtained her Real Estate License in May of 2018 and has been serving families in Louisiana ever since. After becoming a Realtor, she and husband decided to become Real Estate Investors. Their goal is not only to provide housing for tenants and their families, but to assist and guide them into becoming homeowners as well. Assisting tenants isn’t just a “number” to Coretta, it’s a life mission to see people exceed their dreams by owning their own homes in turn.
In 2016, Coretta attended Remington college and obtained two degrees; one as a Registered Medical Laboratory Assistant and the other as a Certified Phlebotomist. While attending Remington College, Coretta maintained honors and was a nominee for the Nightingale Honors Society Award. In 2009, after graduating from high school, Coretta started school at LSU at Eunice. She graduated with two Associates Degrees from LSUE; one in General Studies and Early Childhood Education. While Coretta attended school, she worked for over five years as a caregiver with several special needs clients and also worked as a customer service representative.
After many years of soul searching, Coretta decided to take a different path in careers. Coretta chose the life of a realtor due to the flexibility but more importantly, she always knew that she wanted to work with people. Coretta enjoys turning her clients into family. It brings her great joy to show clients that it’s possible to be homeowners and with her help, it’s even more attainable.
