Hi, my name is Carl Johnson, Jr., better known as "C.J.", and I was born in Thibodaux, LA. I also lived in New Jersey and New York when I was a teenager!

I moved to Lafayette, LA in 2013 to attend the University of Louisiana at Lafayette to pursue a degree in Business Management. I graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in May of 2017 with a degree in Business Management with Magna Cum Laude status. I was a part of many organizations on campus, including the Student Government Association, where I was a Senator for the B.I. Moody III College of Business, Phi Kappa Phi, Delta Sigma Pi, and the Black Male Leadership Association.

Once I moved to Lafayette, LA, I completely fell in love with the atmosphere and never looked back. I love the size, feel, and vibe of Lafayette, and Acadiana in general. I personally purchased a home in Lafayette in May 2019, and I absolutely love it and my community!

I decided to move into real estate from the car business. I had been in the car business for 3 years. I worked for Infiniti of Lafayette and Audi Lafayette. During my time at Audi, I achieved Salesperson of the Month four times and I was also the Salesman of the Year for 2019!

One reason why I feel like I did so well in the car business is because for me, it is not just about making a sale, but it is about building trust and a relationship with your client. Being from the south, I am big on building relationships, and even friendships! I genuinely want to help people find the right fit for themselves, whatever that may be. As your agent, I do not want communication to end when the sale closes or when the contract is signed, but I want those lifelong connections that are all too important.
