A Baton Rouge native and graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, Wendy holds a double degree in Marketing and Management and has over a decade of management experience in the B2B and B2C industries.

She was instrumental in growing the Louisiana market share for two of the largest beverage distribution companies in the US, even achieving the prestigious and hard earned title of Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) and French Wine Scholar (FWS) to enhance wine distribution efforts and restaurateur education programs in the regions she served. She was a featured columnist in Delta Style magazine, where she shared information on wine varietals and changes within the wine industry in the US market.

In 2006 she married Jamie Freeman and called Monroe home. Over the past several years she has provided marketing support for two new family-owned businesses; Freeman Insulation and Freeman Builders. Fascinated by the entire construction industry she began to explore avenues to further grow the businesses. Real Estate seemed a natural fit. She obtained her Real Estate license and officially became an Agent in 2018, joining Coldwell Banker and selling the homes her husband and brother-in-law built. She then joined Rhodes Realty to help facilitate their expansion into the Monroe area.

Today, Wendy continues her career in the wine industry while expanding her Real Estate business. She is excited to help her clients find the “perfect pairing” of family and a forever home!
